Hi there paper peeps! Today is my day over at the Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts Blog. I know I just posted a Summer card.....but now I am posting a Halloween project. How is that for a season change?
I started with the Victorian frame and easel. I have used this frame before ...this time I had it in mind to use it horizontally. I gave it and this cute Moon some love with the Tattered angels spray in orange.
I also aged it a bit with Tim Holtz distress ink .
while the easel was drying I backed the frame with pattern papers and images and layered the frame on top.
I added my Moon with foam adhesive and also added this awesome Halloween fence coming soon to store. I embossed it with black embossing powder.
I added interest to the front of easel with some handmade crepe paper stitched together.
From there I just started adding some final touches to bring this piece to life!
So stinking excited guys! It is time for a new Cheery Lynn Blog hop! They have 23 new gorgeous dies. There will be a $20 gift certificate awarded to one lucky person, so make sure to enter the giveaway on the Cheery Lynn blog. You should have found your way here from Lisa's lovely blog.
This new line is called Veriloquent and is full of vintage charm!!! It is so my type of heaven!
Here are my cards.
For both cards I started with the sweet Swedish Spring Oval die. I than added several layers, including the vintage bracket shape 4 piece die set, vintage tile die, Dusty Miller Square die, and Dusty Miller Frame Corners. I than added my main images. I used the sweet baby pram and the awesome vintage hot air balloon. I used vellum on both cards which cut really well with these dies. I added the clouds from the Whimsical Sun and clouds set and added one of the new Weathered Scrolls with a stamped sentiment.
Aren't the details gorgeous on these? I love them all!!! Okay well that is it for this gal. Your next stop is over to Bonnie's gorgeous blog. Have fun and be inspired! Cherry
